"I'm interested in stories, so when I look to draw an image, I'm looking for the story, the humanity in a piece of art work. The story is not always a moral lesson to be learned, a lot of times it's about those parts of ourselves that we are not comfortable with.. the freaky side, the sexual side, the spiritual side. The sad and humorous side of even of the most tragic of events. The heart breaking moments where we feel we can no longer move forward and the extraordinary strength we find to go on when circumstances seem impossible to overcome. The human spirit to never give in or give up when all hope seems to be lost and of course, human vanity, our love of the outside of beauty and ugliness, combined and everything in between. The continuation and the end of a thing. This is what life is about and more, the goal for me as an artist is to capture as much LIFE is possible in a series of drawings that i call ART!"- M.Brown
